Job Title: Registered Nurse - Tele Med/Surg
Job Summary: The Registered Nurse in the Tele Med/Surg unit is responsible for providing high-quality patient care to acutely ill patients in a remote setting. This position requires strong communication skills, critical thinking abilities, and the ability to work independently to monitor and assess patients using telemedicine technology.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Providing direct patient care through virtual consultations and remote monitoring
- Performing assessments, creating care plans, and administering medications as prescribed
- Monitoring patient vital signs and communicating any changes to the healthcare team
- Educating patients and families on their conditions and treatment plans
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Documenting patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely
Qualifications and Skills:
- Active RN license in the state of practice
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
